I just bought ainol elf with android 4.0.1. This is the first tablet PC using android 4.0 ICS, made in china but with good quality. A few days using this tablet, it’s not fast, I had been looking on the internet that android 4.0 is the version that never fails issued by Google. In recent months, Google will soon release version 5.0 Jelly bean android, maybe April. Well, while waiting, I decided to downgrade to 2.3.4 android gingerbead smoother and lighter. Here’s how:
Download file Android ADB Driver, Livesuite and Ainol Elf Android Firmware 2.3.4 (for uploading the firmware android). Then install the ADB driver for android and run the live suite. How to install Android ADB Driver can be found here.

Run livesuite, there is a wizard, follow it, and select the format of the device and select Ainol Novo 7 Elf 2.3.4 Firmware for the load to the device and click finish. After that unplug from the computer and turn off Elf ainol elf.

Downgrade process begins
A. hold the menu
2. Plug the USB cable to the computer
3. While holding down the menu, press the power button as much as 6-10 times (slow)
4. On the computer screen will pop up, select the format.
5. Format will run, do not let the cable is disconnected.
6. Once completed, the elves will restart. Restart the process somewhat longer than usual.
7. After restarting, you should use a factory reset menu to make sure everything is running normally.
8. Ainol elf with android 2.3.4 is ready for use.
