If western have PHP+GTK for made desktop application with PHP language, now indonesia have klorofil platform for create desktop application with PHP language. Before it, do you know that PHP can make desktop application, not only web application, i mean web based application. I know that the core klorofil platform is PHP+GTK module. But with klorofil module, you can made desktop application easilly and simple. If you’re using pure PHP+GTK, its very difficult and need more resource and times.Klorofil platform like java machine or java runtime enviorment. They will work as bridge PHP code and application. Klorofil have much more class for create like window, button,menu, combobox and all GUI component.

As note, klorofil was made by indonesian poeple, it opensource project, so you can download klorofil platform as binary file or source code.

But, there bad news, PHP for desktop application not interest for developer, so klorofil or PHP+GTK not develop often. I think the reason is, PHP dedicated for web programming, not desktop programming. Maybe its right reason. But i love PHP for desktop.
